It is very well known that cutting conditions and cutting geometry are crucial for machining processes.

Therefore, the properties of machines parts/ workpieces as well as type of machining process determine what material are going to be used for production of cutting insets/segments.

AA diamonds can offer different materials. Inserts can be made of carbide, cermet, polycrystalline diamond (PCD) or polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN).
