AA Diamonds produces all types of milling tools according to your exact needs,  either with brazed PCD segments or milling tools with indexable PCD inserts.

Product characteristics:

Milling tools with brazed PCD cutting segments should be used in case you want to achieve the highest cutting conditions. These segments can by applied in many  sizes, starting with 5mm radius up to 125 mm.

Milling PCD tools with brazed segments are usually applied in modern cutting technologies such as HSC or when applied MQL cutting.

PCD fine boring tools

Our PCD fine boring tools are usually adjusted according to individual needs of our customers. The individual requirements are usually raised based on applied cutting technologies.

Main characteristics of manufacturing process:

Not only a tool life, but also a quality of machined surface is possible to increase by precise grinding of cutting edge. Unlike our competitors, we at AA Diamonds are always performing not only cylindrical grinding but we also grind arake angle (fasets) and main cutting edge.

Our PCD fine boring tools are delivered with a modular holder system with radial and axial adjustment.  The modular tool holder system is a must for desired geometrical tolerances and we can deliver it. Same as our PCD milling tools our PCD fine boring toolas are also well balanced prior delivery.

 

Typical applications:

- final machining of engine valve seats and engine valve guides ,

- bore machining of cam and crank shafts,

- bore machining of all types of aluminium workpieces where required tolerances are H and/or higher.
